Calahoo Meats has grown from a one-room operation to a very successful plant that employs between 90–100 staff members.
Currently,Calahoo Meats operates from the same location, but in much larger and modern premises. The main building houses office staff, sales people, management, the deli department and meat warehouse. Three other buildings house the dry goods department and fresh produce, the machine shop and the main warehouse. They also offer delivery to anywhere in northern Alberta from a fleet of their own trucks, including tractor-trailer units.
Today, Calahoo Meats specializes in supplying restaurants, camps, cafeterias, stores, hospitals and other institutions a complete product line from fresh produce... to dry goods... to a wide selection of meats.
Their specialty products include: garlic, ham, pork and beef sausage, hamburger patties, bell hams, 4x4 hams, pepperoni, bologna and much more!
